The coach had scolded the team to the point where, if they missed the net on a shot, he made them run “suicides.” Well, guess what…it didn’t take them long to respond. I don’t know how many times I have heard someone say, “I took piano lessons for years but, I still can’t play much. When I ask them to play something, they say, “oh, I can’t unless I have music in front of me.” What a shame. I think this has a lot to do with why so many people give up piano lessons in frustration, and not just piano, but many other things.
